| Paying Surveys |
[13 Apr 2009|11:53pm] |
Oh my gosh, I know this is off topic, but I am really amazed on how much money I am making off of paid surveys this year. Seriously! I've been a member for a few years, but I've been really active this year and I am making so much. For example:
-I was paid $50 to do my taxes. Seriously. They just wanted me to evaluate turbotax online, which I use anyway, so SWEET! -I was paid $40 to try a fiber supplement for 3 weeks. Easy enough, no side effects, SWEET! -I will be paid in several points (which in alot of sites you accumulate to convert into gift certificates or visa gift cards) to watch the A-List awards on Bravo this wednesday -They paid me $20 fricken dollars to tell them which brands of bra I use. It was the easiest 20 ever! -They paid me several points to take out $100 dollars in one dollar bills and write a tracker website address on them, which was actually pretty easy. -Plus I get paid anywhere from 1-5 dollars per paid survey I take, which are several in a day. Seriously, I have accumulated so much money. I get alot of surveys that are basically to watch movie previews that haven't been put out yet and tell them what I think. I also watch youtube videos and tell them what I think, or even tell them what I think about new products coming on the market. I think one survey is even paying me $10 to try their feminine pads this month, so sweet! That'll be coming in the mail soon. Oh! I even got paid to try a Lean Quisine and evaluate it. Free stuff! SWEET!
So in case any of you guys are interested, these are my favorite sites. I am a member of about 1 bazzillion of them and have tried them all and weened them to my favorites.
1. Surveyspot (surveyspot.com) - my absolute favorite. Not all surveys pay, so watch for that, just keep refreshing for paid ones. I really like it because they pay quite a bit.
2. Treasure Trooper (treasuretrooper.com/clickme) Please use that link if you are going to sign up, I get points for referrals (don't worry, this is the only site I use that has referrals so I'm not trying to sell you guys out for money, I promise). This one is alot of fun. It's not just surveys, but offers and shopping if you are into that. Also there is virtual money to play around with or to convert into gift cards. Really one of my favs! Plus they have a paypal option so you don't have to wait for checks!
3. Inboxdollars.com - they pay you a few cents per email you read, which is really easy. You get the email in your inbox and then just click on it and voila! It takes a while for the small amounts to accumulate, but there are surveys too so it adds up. In a few months I have made $10 on just emails, which is pretty surprising.
4. Your2cents.com - another good one, alot like surveyspot
5. Opinionoutpost.com - like the one above, pays well
6. ValuedOpinions.com - Pays well like the 2 above
7. Globalopinionpanels.com - Really good one, you get to try alot of free stuff
And there are alot more if you are interested. Just let me know if you are into this and I'll give you more good ones. Make sure you ask me, because there are alot of scam ones out there that only pay you to shop on fishy websites. I have a big list of no-goes, so run them by me or ask me for more if you like these.
If you guys do like them, please use my treasuretrooper referral link, http://www.treasuretrooper.com/clickme I don't take up any of your money, but they do match a certain percentage, which is really cool!

Hey! Today wasn't bad. Just pharmaceutics, pharmacy law, and dispensing lab. It's 'make to order' sushi night at the food zoo today, so I'm in a good mood!

Good day today. It's my short day (meaning I have no classes after 12, so awesomeness!) Quiz went pretty well. I know for sure that I got 1 wrong. Phys was good, going over the endocrine pancreas, diabetes, metabolic syndrome... yeah. Pharmaceutics was ok, basically just going over injection terminology and stuffage. Then it was free pizza lunch for those that RSVP'ed to the lexicomp lunch. I'm amazed at the discounts they offer students! I'll have to get that before I go into clinical rotations. Then now I am back and bored. Two huge tests next week, but I don't want to study yet because my brain is fried, so I'm just going to chillax and take it easy for a bit. Have a good one!

Today was pretty good. Had pharmaceutics and pharmacy law. Fuuuun! Then after lunch was my pharmaceutics lab, where we basically made a potassium chloride solution, ephedrine syrup, and phenobarbital elixir. The syrups were so sticky!! After lab I did my cardio. I'm so effin pissed, my shoes keep making my feet go numb. I have a really really really (did I mention really?) high instep, so I can never find good tennies and I always get tendonitis in my foot. It hurts like a beotch. But anyway, about 15 minutes into my cardio I'm basically walking on a stump, which is really uncomfortable. I have tried 4 different shoes now and they all do it. GRR! 30 minutes of walking on a stump is friggen annoying and painful. And it's not just toes, it's the whole foot. Whatev... time to go back to studying for antimicrobials. I only have to memorize like 30 different names of cephalosporins, their structures, which generation they are in, and if they are oral or parenteral. It's a breeze, NOT! Plus the mechanism of action, spectrum of activity and side effects also... plus the carbapenems and monobactams. *dies*. Adios!

Hey so today was pretty poopy. The wind is really really crazy high right now, so all night my screen on my window (which isn't tight enough) was clunking in and out and making a whole lot of damn racket. GRR! I just kept putting a pillow over my head, and I'd finally fall asleep, then I'd wake up again when the pillow fell off. *cries* I didn't get deep sleep at all! Can someone say naptime?! It's fricken cold here today, and it's going to get worse. The wind chill is so terrible. I'm so mad, it was so sunny and green and nice, then BAM... freezing. Oh well, that's the saying... "if you don't like Montana weather, just wait 5 minutes and it'll change". Seriously, that's our motto. No joke. School was OK today. Instead of 2 hours of thyroid lecture we only got 1, so I was thanking God at that moment. I needed that extra time to study cephalosporin antibiotics for our antimicrobials exam on wednesday. Yaaay. not. Free pizza for lunch for all that are volunteering on Saturday the 21st. Basically we are volunteering to give the potential new pharmacy students building tours and take them to their interviews, then we fill out an evaluation for each of them about how they were outside of the interview and how they were dressed, sociable, etc. Should be pretty easy. I remember my interview and how much the student volunteers made it more comfortable. I wanted to pay it forward :) After free pizza it was integrated studies, and we were going over clinical cases of urinalysis. Pretty easy. Just look at the lab values of pH, glucose, ketones, protein, white blood cell count, red blood cell count, etc and decide what we thought was wrong with the patient. Most of it was diabetes mellitus and kidney stones. There was one where this crazy beotch put food dye in her urine to make it look like she had blood in her urine (hematuria) so she could claim worker's comp. How pathetic. Anywho, that was my day. Time to take a shower and continue studying for the antimicrobials quiz on wednesday.

You could be happy and I won't know But you weren't happy the day I watched you go
And all the things that I wished I had not said Are played in loops 'till it's madness in my head
Is it too late to remind you how we were Not our last days of silent screaming blur
Most of what I remember makes me sure I should have stopped you from walking out the door
You could be happy, I hope you are You made me happier than I'd been by far
Somehow everything I own smells of you And for the tiniest moment it's all not true
Just do the things that you always wanted to Without me there to hold you back, don't think, just do
More than anything I want to see you grow Take a glorious bite out of the whole world

Suppose I said I am on my best behavior And there are times I lose my worried mind
Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else?
Suppose I said Colors change for no good reason And words will go From poetry to prose
Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else?
And I, in time, will come around I always do for you
Suppose I said You're my saving grace?
Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else?

The Jeremy Camp concert was so awesome! Front row seats, it was nuts. We were at the celebrity theatre thingy, so it was the circular rotating stage with the audience circumfrancing it. When I stand the stage is to my knees, and my knees are touching the stage (we're that close), so I could touch their stomachs and above if I wanted too! I could literally trip them if I had the urge (I resisted, I promise, hahahaha). The rotating stage was sweet, I got to see everything. I liked watching the drummer when he passed by. The music rocked, what else would you expect?

If I were a painter I would paint my reverie If that's the only way for you to be with me
We'd be there together Just like we used to be Underneath the swirling skies for all to see
And I'm dreaming of a place Where I could see your face And I think my brush would take me there But only...
If I were a painter And could paint a memory I'd climb inside the swirling skies to be with you I'd climb inside the skies to be with you

I have tendonitis in my right foot, Wooo! (NOT!) I started feeling pain and swelling a week ago after I took off my work shoes (had just got off work), and it's gotten worse. Now my foot creaks when I move my toes or walk, as well as pain. Ugh, it hurts man!
